Sunset Engagement Photoshoot in East Atlanta Village
I had the privilege of photographing this unicorn couple who found each other on his FIRST AND ONLY DAY on a dating app. With that kind of luck, I'd be on a plane to Vegas, but these lovebirds are celebrating their new chapter together at home in East Atlanta Village.
We started the session on an unseasonably warm day seated at a cafe table courtesy of Argosy. I'm always delighted to learn my clients have friends with local businesses who will host a little photographic moment like this one. Not only is the setting visually interesting, but also: you're going to be more comfortable in a familiar place, and the photos show it.
After ordering some cold drinks, I just played paparazzi: hovering around as they basked in each others company. Some couples like to go editorial with posing, etc. These two were looking for more candid, organic interactions.
Golden hour waits for no one, however, so we didn't linger for too long. After an outfit change we went for a stroll down Flat Shoals Ave.
We weren't sure if weather would cooperate with adding a motorcycle to our session, but the photo gods were on our side...nothing like a Harley to round out a photoshoot already stacked with tattoos, muscles, and a beard.
