Boudoir is for everyone. NUVO Photography welcomes and celebrates all bodies and genders.
I call my boudoir photography "intimate portraits" because they're lead by your comfort level and personal style. Unless you'd like to experiment, I don't recommend choosing props or outfits that extend beyond your comfort level. Come as you are and we'll capture that together!
Kendal to the rescue! She's my personal stylist, and will help you either shop your closet or shop at stores to find the perfect pieces for your session.
I can do more for you with lighting, angles, posing and wardrobe than most gym-members can achieve in 3 months. I'm a big believer in body neutrality; not seeing myself as good or bad. I just am. By showing up and being seen as you are right now, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised about just how self-accepting you can be.
This is a photographer problem, not a you problem. People who look good in photos simply don't act like they're staring down the barrel of a soul-snatching lens. They're in the moment. They're enjoying themselves, or embodying a mood. It's the photographer's job to cultivate a space where you can just be. Ultimately that's what photographs the best.
The sweet spot is 3 months. This gives you time to prepare, gives me lots of options for location availability, and allows for breathing room that tends to result in more creative work!
Yes. Each service can be booked separately or combined into a Triptych experience. An outfit change can also go a long way. Your portrait session is more than enough time to fit 3 different looks.
